Hi once again, wrestling fans. I hope life has been treating you kind since we last met here last week. This week, I’d like to take a special look at something that arguably makes the world go around. No, not money. Love. If you look at movies, television shows, life in general, it often comes down to love being a common denominator.

“Wrestling is an art form. I don’t worry about those who don’t get it. I worry about satisfying those who do.” – Paul Heyman Very true words that prove the drive and love wrestlers have for the fans and biz.

Pro wrestling is no different. The boys and girls of pro wrestling, all companies, do what they do for the love of the game, sport, entertainment, whatever you prefer out of those choices. More times than not, they fell in love with this unique form of the spectacle that is ultimately known as professional wrestling. From there, it often includes long road trips, working for every bit of money they earn with every bump they take. Piling up in cars, enduring the weather, the seasons, traffic, lack of sleep, and of course, everything they put themselves through to entertain you, the fans!

I understand that some fans are possibly more “smart” to everything that goes on. Even the ones who “get” the concept more than others, I assure you without living the experience you will never be able to fully comprehend the life a professional wrestler lives. Not a bad thing, just the way it is. It goes back to the old saying of “you never know what it’s like to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes.”

Just know that in the shoes or many cases, boots of these guys and gals, their walking includes an even more complex & detailed life to get to where they currently are. The blood, sweat, and tears is not just accurate for the in-ring display but also that of an every day life of these ambitiously driven folks. Through every injury they often times are working with and not on the sidelines, sick, or even dealing with their own unique personal experiences in life, they continue to push through it all because of love. The love that led them to fight to bust their butts to get to where they are for the love of entertaining the fans!

And I’d be willing to bet, if the majority of these athletes were polled, most (if not all) would say every step of their journey has been worthwhile and the reason would ultimately be love.

Thanks for joining up with me again. I encourage everyone to check out Jim Blaze’s POWW Entertainment FB page. He is 1/2 of Revolution with Eric Freedom. This Saturday, November 5 is WrestleRage 20 available via streaming on Pay Per View! See ya next week.

God Bless!
