Hi again wrestling fans! It’s been a pretty hectic week since I left you last time. A personal unexpected loss occurred. As we get older we become more accustomed to losing those we care for. I wouldn’t say it gets any easier but it does become more frequent. We all have only so much time here on this planet. It’s important to do our best to appreciate the time we are given with those we love.

“It’s not what we have in life, but who we have in our life that matters." I couldn't agree more with this unknown authors quote.

Professional wrestling is definitely my lifelong love. It would have to be after loving it since I was five years old. Wrestling has helped me get through some of the darkest days I have experienced in my life and continues to do so. It has also provided me with over three decades of entertainment and good memories. Since becoming a part of the UWE family and later POWW Entertainment, I have been able to meet some of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. This takes us back to where I started this week’s blog, friendship. Friends come and go throughout our lives. Much like the seasons we experience living in Michigan. However, if you’re extra lucky and blessed, you will have some lifelong friends. People there for you in not only your good times but also the bad. Sometimes all it takes is a kind soul with their shoulder to cry on or an ear to bend to vent emotions. I know that may be odd reading in a wrestling blog but the truth is, we all need someone at some point. No shame in it, regardless of your profession or social status.

I’m thankful for my friends in my hometown, across many different state lines, family, and my wrestling family. So many have sent love or supported my posts and mixed bag of emotions via Facebook and Instagram. I appreciate each and every one of you. I have had fans who are also friends, some even in that family way, offer love and kind words. I even had a few fans who I don’t know personally offer words of encouragement.

The point here is that it really helped me deal with my loss and make me realize how blessed I truly am. Even in the pain and heartache of loss, we can find good things come to life. People being kind and showing love is such an important part of healing. Friends and family offer such healing.

Pro wrestling has been a part of my healing any time I have experienced a loss or hurt of any kind. I feel very fortunate that I have such a love for this business and that so many in this crazy business show me that love right back.

OH, Don’t forget to get your tickets to UWE Hardcore Halloween Homecoming as we return to the Wex in Cadillac, MI on Saturday, October 22!! I will see you there & until next week, may you all have a great week! Please think about your blessings throughout the week. Let’s all appreciate whatever good we have in our lives. God bless!
