Hi again, wrestling fans!! Here is to hoping everyone has had a nice week since the last time we met up. As summer once again comes to a close, the action at UWE Pro Wrestling is still as hot as ever! Let’s get right to this week’s focus of the next UWE Pro Wrestling event! Once again, for the second time in two weeks, it’s UWE Week, baby!!!

This Saturday, September 9, UWE returns to the National Guard Armory in Cadillac, Michigan for our annual HOMECOMING event!!

UWE Tag Team Championship Match. On that night the UWE Pro Wrestling Tag Team Titles will be on the line as Max Morrison and J Skutt will defend against The Revolution Eric Freedom and Jim Blaze. Will the leader of Project Maxx and the ever annoying, Frontman J Skutt vanquish the championship aspirations of Eric Freedom and his BFF, Jimmy Blaze?? Or will the Revolution once again become UWE Tag Team Champions as both Blaze and Freedom wind their 30 year (plus) careers down?!?

PUB CRAWL match. Irish Pub Army (Kavan O'Reilley and Meathooks O'Bannon) take on the Conflict Crew (Masked Marauder, Tommy Macabre and Mr. Christopher Headford). At the last event, No Bummer Summer, IPA defeated the Conflict Crew but the Masked Marauder had his leg on the bottom rope despite the referee counting the pinfall. This led to one more round for these two teams to fight again. This time it will include a ROUND OF SHOTS in the form of booze!! IPA picked their very own match to do battle once again with the Conflict Crew! As Mr. Christopher Headford and his thugs were not impressed with IPA’s stipulation choice, the IPA then informed Headford, he too, will have to partake in the round of shots!! Headford and his Crew were livid at this decision!! It will be fun to watch Headford be forced to participate in the round of shots to hopefully ensure no shenanigans on his part.

UWE Heavyweight Championship. Former best friends fight for the richest prize in all of UWE as “Breathtaking” Mike Idol once again challenges UWE Champion “The Bruiser” Jamie Race. The first time in April of this year, the two best friends had a hard fought match that ended with Race retaining by pulling Idol’s tights. Their rematch at No Bummer Summer ended after Race became frustrated by Idol seemingly having Race on the edge of being defeated. Jamie Race then did the unthinkable to his best friend of over twenty years, he hit Mike Idol with a kick in the crotchal region right in front of referee Sarah, causing an immediate disqualification! While fans were stunned by the outcome, Race continued to beat on his best friend (former??) until Meathooks O’Bannon came to the rescue. This seems to certainly be a personal issue now between the former tag team partners of Bruiser Mass Index. Will Mike Idol finally realize his dream of becoming the UWE Heavyweight Champion or will Jamie Race do whatever it takes to leave Idol “absolutely…beaten, battered, and bruised” in order to once again retain the UWE Heavyweight Championship?!?

As well as seeing someone get inducted into the UWE Hall Of Fame!! Who will be going to the ever prestigious UWE Hall Of Fame??? I personally cannot wait to find out what star becomes immortalized in this HOF induction!!
